This summer, SafePlace is hosting a Youth Art & Creativity Program, or YAC!
This FREE program is for youth aged 12-18 (must be in high school if they're 18) and provides them an opportunity to have a creative outlet to explore feelings, self-care, self-esteem, friendship and more through facilitated projects. OR if the youth wants to just utilize the wonderful studio space to do their own independent project, that's great too! We are opening this space up so youth can get creative. Summer YAC will occur every Wednesday from July 13th-August 31st from 6:00pm-7:30pm at a confidential location. Register today- Space is limited. |

SPEAK, or SafePlace Peer Education Action and Knowledge is an after-school, youth-led group for teens age 14-18. As an Education Ambassador of SPEAK, you will work with your peers around issues of healthy relationships, consent, and boundaries in your schools and community as well as earn volunteer hours! SPEAK is truly an incredible opportunity to have your voice, opinions, and strength heard in the community, tackling subjects that affect both you and those you care about.
SPEAK members also have ample opportunities to present about healthy relationships to their peers, as well as serve as an incredibly valuable and educational resource to their community.
