SafePlace offers free and confidential services to people who have experienced domestic violence and sexual assault. SafePlace advocates support survivors through crisis intervention, advocacy and safety planning. Our goal is to empower survivors to make their own decisions about their relationships and lives, while providing them with options and resources. SafePlace works for the survivor, not any legal or law enforcement entity.

- You have the right to be treated with respect.
- You have the right to receive services, regardless of race, religion, disability, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender, age, income, veteran status, marital status, immigration status, or any other basis prohibited by law. You also have the right to refuse services and decline them at any time.
- You have the right to privacy and confidentiality. All of your personal information will remain confidential. If you wish SafePlace to release any information about you or the services you receive, you will need to sign a release of information with a staff member. We may use some of your information for statistical reports required by our funders but will not include your name or be attached to your name in reports.
- You have the right to be heard and to file a complaint if you are dissatisfied with any services. Call 360-786-8754.
- You have the right to freedom from violence.
- Please be aware of our limitations. SafePlace is legally obligated to report information to authorities if you tell us about child abuse or elder and vulnerable adult abuse. Staff is also obligated to report to law enforcement if you disclose that you intend to harm yourself or someone else.
