SafePlace is Thurston County’s designated sexual and domestic violence survivor advocacy agency. Executive Director

Reports to:                Board of Directors

Hours of Work:          Full Time/Exempt, Monday-Thursday, occasional evenings and weekends required

Compensation:          $70,000-$80,000, DOE

Benefits:                     Medical, vision, and dental insurance; paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave are provided as per SafePlace personnel policies.  Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provided.  Retirement benefits will be available when simple plan qualifications have been met.

Job summary:           The Executive Director, guided by the SafePlace strategic plan, is responsible for the agency’s administration, development and management of 38 employees, fiscal development and management of the agency $1.7M budget including  numerous state and local contracts, the 12 member board of directors’ training and support and prioritizing survivor empowerment in service delivery and community relations. They are additionally responsible for ensuring the prevention and direct service deliverables on behalf of sexual and domestic violence survivors are met.  Managing all aspects of the agency from a trauma informed and culturally responsive social justice approach is required.

Staff Relief Advocate

Reports to:     Assigned Program Manager

Hours:             On-call

Wage:               $15.00/hour; $22.50/hour for holidays. Potential for future full-time benefited employment.
