Commemorative Gifts

“I honor my mother, a domestic violence survivor, each year at Mother’s Day with a gift to SafePlace.  She loves that I do this, and seeing her name in the newsletter!”  ~ Anonymous Donor

Making a commemorative gift and dedicating your donation is a special way to honor someone on an important occasion, such as a wedding, anniversary, birthday, or holiday, or to memorialize an individual’s life.

When you make a commemorative gift, we will send a letter to the person being honored telling them of your gift and its importance to SafePlace.  You will receive a receipt for your gift as well.

Gifts in memory are acknowledged to the family of the deceased.

The amount of your commemorative gift remains confidential.  All commemorative gift honorees are listed in our community newsletter, as well as on our website.  Commemorative gifts may be given anonymously.

You can make your gift online using the “Donate” button located on the right – use the “Add special instructions to the seller” option to include the name of the person being commemorated, and the name/address of the person to receive the acknowledgment letter.  You can also mail your gift to:
