Benefit Party or Event

“Since 1989, we at Calcara Family Chiropractic have held a “Patient Appreciation Day”, on behalf of SafePlace, because we are like so many others in our society, abuse has left its impact on some of my loved ones and friends.   But as it unfortunately is still a part of the world’s culture, we want its victims to have a safe place to escape the abuse and the abuser.   My family and I are pleased to have SafePlace as that refuge in our community.” ~ Dr. Rick Calcara

We warmly welcome the support of community members who take it upon themselves to host an event to benefit SafePlace.  By choosing SafePlace as a beneficiary of your upcoming event, you not only raise much needed funds but also bring awareness to the community about the help available to those affected by sexual and domestic violence.

There are many fun ideas for benefit events, ranging from garage sales to rock concerts, rock climbing to raffles.  We are happy to talk with you further about your benefit event ideas.

By taking on a community event, the host (an individual, business, family or group in the community) assumes all responsibility for creating and producing the event.  There are guidelines for hosting a community event and an agreement form we ask hosts to submit to SafePlace so we can recognize your efforts and offer support if we are able.
